You Are Not Alone

Loneliness

Loneliness / ˈlōnlēnəs /

noun

sadness because one has no friends or company.

In the book of Proverbs, it says, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity" (Proverbs 17:17). This verse highlights the idea that true friendship involves being there for someone not just in good times, but also during difficult times.

While we don't know how many people were at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, we know that almost every follower of Christ had abandoned Him. Mary Magdalene, James, Salome, John, and His mother are some of the very few who remained. From tens of thousands to less than 10. If you're feeling alone, you're in good company.

If you feel alone, know that we are here for you. Reach out.

If you don't feel alone, earnestly seek God and ask Him who He wants you to connect with. When we've climbed out of our own valleys we have an opportunity to enter the valley of others and help them through.

We would love for you to join us for our Sunday service!
